"The Creekside Players' family of actors invites the family's of the community to participate in live theatre" -CP-
Welcome to CreeksidePlayers.org.
Wow... a web site... who would have known...
We are the Creekside Players, a ragtag group of travelling gypsies who - sorry got a little off track there. Let me try again.
Ahem. We are a community theatre group based out of Winfield, British Columbia, and performing at the Creekside Theatre, a community theatre built into the George Elliot High School in downtown Winfield.
We try to have at least two productions a year: one in the fall(november/decemberish); and one in the spring (february/marchish). We have meeting about once a month and an Annual General Meeting...you guessed it once a year!
Anyone living anywhere can try out for any position of one of our productions. From acting to directing to stage management or lights and sound, anything is open for anyone to try.
So feel free to drop in sometime, now that you know who and where we are, we can't wait meet you!
Latest News:
It is with heavy hearts and quite a lot of disorientaion that we say good-bye to Paul and Kathryn Unger. Their energy and dedication to the craft will be sorely missed.
To that end Creekside recently held a vote to fill the rather large shoes of the husband and wife dynamic duo.
Our new Secretary will be Bonnie Taylor, and our new Treasurer, none other than Tony Bjerkness. Good luck guys!
There will be an open casting call on wednesday Sept 17th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the creekside theatre. This wil be for our fall production which will be a play reading rather than a full play production. There are three female and four male speaking roles available. Hope to see you there!
